Film screening for 'I Wish You Knew' short film PSA and a panel discussion that dives deeper into racial trauma.
About this event‘I Wish You Knew’ was selected to be a part of the East Carolina University's College of Health and Human Performance's Prevention Science Initiative Film Festival. This film festival will feature films related to Prevention Science Initiatives, Trauma and Resilience. ‘I Wish You Knew’, a short film PSA that calls for more trauma informed schools, is about what happens when students cannot speak up for themselves.
5:30 pm- Doors Open | ERASISM Photovoice Exhibit 6:00 pm – Screening begins A ‘Deeper Look Into Racial Trauma’, panel discussion, facilitated by Dr. Kristin Black, will follow immediately.
